Default Change Friends List And District Swapping

I Dont Know About You All But I Tend To Find My Friends List Full And Half The Time I Cant Remember Who These People Are So I Propose Three Things To Remedy This Situation.

1) Make The Friends List Have A 100 Person Limit or No Limit As Well As Allowing You To Sort Your Friends Into Groups That You Can Name.

2) Allow Notes To Be Added To The Friends List So You Can Remember That This Guy Is The One Who PMed You Yesterday About Buying Your Bone Dragon Staff.

3) Allow Players To Send Messages To People That Are Offline And Then When That Person Logs On The Receive The Messages.

I Also Find Myself Using The Map To Travel To Lions Arch, KC, And Kamadan To Another Area Or To My Guild Hall To Go To HA. The 'Boat' We Use To Move Between The Three Games Should Be Updated So That You Can 'Bookmark' Areas You Often Travel Too. This Would Be Especially Useful For Areas In Places Like EoTN Where An 8 Man Team Cant Be Taken Through LA And You Have to Go Roundabout Through KC. Or Even DoA Where You Have To Move Through 3 Cities Just To Get To Where Your Trying to Go.

Sounds reasonable.

1. Not a big deal for me, but I can see why there is a problem for some and sorting would be nice.

2. Same as 1

3. This would be great, very much needed.

Map travel is easy but they could make some minor improvements to make it better. Perhaps a top 5 or 10 list that you can customize for quick travel.

Why You Type Like This?

1 sounds like it would be pointless if 2 was added. I wasn't thinking about offline chat spam until I saw Hailey's post. Molding 3 into something that would prevent mass spam but still allow it to be useful would require too much work for its worth.

Oh, and I would love to see 2 happen.

/signed for all but 3 unless you aren't spammed when you come back online, maybe like email or something. "30 unread PMs" xD

I'm pretty sure that's the forums filters for when people type their post in all caps.

I always thought the boat should just change the map to that continents map so that you can travel once to any location you desire. As to the other things... allow you to name friends so u know who they are, groups mebbe as well.

Also Please Dont Type Like This. It Is Excruciatingly Painful And Annoying

1) /signed. Perhaps just make it a few (5?) groups named Friends 1-5 to make it easier to implement.
2) /notsigned. Too complicated to implement, and generally not needed with suggestion nr 1).
3) /notsigned. Offline is offline for a reason.

For the map suggestion, /notsigned. Too complicated to implement.

However, I'd propose the alternate suggestion of making you able to swap between the different maps (Tyria, Cantha, Elona, Realm of Torment) on the map screen before actually travelling.

TEST TEST TEST TEST <--- It doesn't seem like forum filtering.

Regarding:
1) Be more discriminant. (Though I would like the "ignore" list to have more room).
2) A "notes" tag is a great idea... maybe with a limit of 20 characters per entry, etc.
3) Plenty of ways to get in touch with people without bogging the game down with a bunch of crap to look at when logging in.

Map travel: There are reasons they set it up the way they did. I believe they wanted to encourage in-game interaction, so funneling us through major outposts helps accomplish this. That is just speculation on my part though.

I am for 1 and 2. Option 3 would lead to abuse. I do not want to get tons of spam when I log in....

The filter only works when all text is in caps, not just one sentence.

Idea 1 and 2 have been needed for some time, don't see much in idea 3.

i hadn't actually thought about it being used for spam flooding but i can see your point... perhaps it would lump any sent from the same account into once long message that was time stamped that would prevent flooding unless they got really vindictive and had their entire guild spam you once. However it could also be implemented where perhaps you can set who and who cannot send you 'mail'. I also very much like the idea said above, forgive me i cant remember their name atm, who suggested an email type system, thus you can mark people as spam etc.. And if the 'lumping' of messages was also implemented along side this email inbox format it would prevent spam cause u can click delete all ^^
and then /report with copy :P *Psh reporting is dumb but anyway*

Sorry typing like that is a slight habit when i'm thinking while typing. haha
